Kensho Vs Satori moments

Kensho – Kensho is a process through which we all are evolving spiritually. It is a gradual process where you learn through moments of pain in your life.

You are passed over for promotion, your relationship fails, or hit with a sudden serious health problem.

Once you recover from this set back you resolve to change your life and your changes stick.

Satori – is a sudden insight where you become aware of the truth of your experience.

Without any filtering of your ego or thought.

Blocking emotions are released and this shifts your understanding in a profound way and can feel liberating.

From your new perspective you can see a way out of your circumstances and see your problems for what they truly are,

an illusion of Thought.

Insight or suffering?

We all have an experience of growth through Kensho moments where we’ve suffered through loss, trauma or unforeseen setbacks.

But so often our Kensho moments are so painful we avoid feeling our emotions and stay stuck for months or even years.

Sometimes we aren’t even aware that this is happening and the influence of these events manifest in different areas in our life.

Over two weeks using the three principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought, I’ll help you uncover Satori moments of understanding and help you release your emotional roadblocks.

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of you, your past and potentially unblock years of emotions that has been holding you back.

How the course works

Starting X July and finishing X July we meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week at 9am pacific/12am eastern/5pm UK and discuss the areas in turn below.

I’ll start the conversation sharing my understanding and my experiences from my own journey to self-realisation, getting myself unstuck and finding my true purpose.

We stay in the conversation as insights arise to why you are stuck and lost right now.

Each session will be recorded and made available to you to download and keep.

You’ll be given exercises to help you clarify your learning and identify your steps to transforming your life.

During the programme we’ll talk about each component and help you discover insights and


Be Here now

We start by introducing the three principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought and how they create your experience.

We then take a look at mindfulness what it is and what it isn't and how the three principles helps you live in the present moment.

The way we pay attention and where we direct our awareness is fundamental to the way we experience life.

Being more mindful and engaged with life is key to moving forward and getting unstuck.


create space

We will look at the ways you can create space between you and your thoughts in your life.

We all tend to over-identify with our thoughts, amplifying them in our minds to become “the truth.”

When we become so attached or fused, to thought in this way, it is easy to see how they can feel so powerful.

We will look at ways of creating space in your own life for self-reflection and enquiry.


Check your story

Since you were born and started to speak, you’ve been asked many questions about yourself.

How old are you?

What do you want to be?

What do you like?

Who are you?

Over time you’ve built a consistent “story” about yourself.

Typically all of our stories have some truth in them.

The problem is that any real solutions do not exist within the story that we tell ourselves and in fact, any way out of the story invalidates the story of who we think we are.



Acceptance changes your life once you understand how to achieve it, but a lot of people struggle with how to do it.

The first thing to realise that acceptance isn't something that you obtain through a cognitive process, you can't just decide to accept something, and that is that.

It is instead, something that you do with your body rather than your head.

It is something that you feel rather than think.


Know what matters

Have you really thought about the big question in life?

"What do you hope to achieve and what kind of person do you want to be?"

Have you really stopped to think about the bigger picture, where your life is going, and what you are searching for?

People who spend time answering these questions with clarity and depth often come to find that the only thing that gets in their way is themselves.


Taking intentional action

Intentional action is a step-by-step process of creating a whole life of purpose, true to your self, your deepest wishes and desires.

It is the difference between being interested in achieving your goals and being committed to achieving your goals. If you are merely interested, you will continue to justify, avoid and give in to your thoughts and emotions.
